Pulled my berkey out of storage where it had been for 8 years. The spigot was leaking initially. I ve figure a way to turn it upside down after each use so it won t leak. Made of 304 grade stainless steel bpa free foodgrade silicone washers.

Install the white washer with the beveled edge towards the stainless steel container insert the threaded nipple of the berkey spigot into the hole in the bottom of your berkey system. If the leak is at the bottom chamber ensure that the washers are set up properly. Install the black washer and then the hex nut onto the threaded nipple of the spigot.
